News: Important notice

Important notice referring Angola containers.

Please note the following will now be noted on all container bill of ladings for shipments into all Angolan Ports.

“According to Angolan Regulations each container discharged should be re-exported within 90 days after date of arrival at Angolan Port, if not, the Unit, whether empty or loaded with cargo, can be confiscated by the Custom Authorities and the Unit including the contents can be sold in Auction.

 Therefore, in case the container has not be returned to the line in 60 days the Merchant will be held responsible, and charged for any demurrage and will also be held responsible and can be charged for the replacement value of the unit”.
